Bret Elliott

Bret Elliott has over a decade of experience in the financial and real estate industry. His career started as a tax CPA in Kansas City with CBIZ, where he specialized in providing services to real estate and financial services clients.

Upon transitioning out of the public accounting arena, Bret served as Chief Financial Officer for a private equity firm specializing in angel investing. As the CFO, Bret navigated the complete financial spectrum for both the firm, as well as each of the firm’s investments. He was also responsible for, and successfully managed, all banking relationships, investment partners, and the disposition of each investment.

In 2012, Bret began to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations and founded CapFusion, LLC, a leading commercial lender in the financial technology industry. In 2017, Bret became President of Plaza Street Partners, a full-service commercial real estate developer that specializes in the development of triple-net assets. Bret has successfully grown a team of professionals that have together completed projects in 30+ states. Under Bret’s guidance, PSP’s commitment to technology and process-based solutions has led the company to become one of the country’s largest multi-unit, triple-net developers in the country.

During his accounting career, Bret achieved and carried a CPA in both Kansas and Missouri. Bret attained both his B. S. A. and Master’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kansas.

Bret lives in Prairie Village, KS where he and his wife raise their two boys. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with family and friends.
